Jane Sheldon

Sydney-born soprano Jane Sheldon specializes in early music and is active in commissioning, creating, and performing new works. Her previous solo release was Song of the Angel (ABC, recently re-released in the “classic recording” series). Jane has performed with the London Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Boston Camerata, Halcyon, Synergy Percussion, Sound Icon, and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. She is also the solo soprano on the famous recording of Elena Kats-Chernin’s Wild Swans by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. In 2011 Jane was awarded Performance of the Year at the Australian Art Music Awards for The Origin Cycle.

Genevieve Lang

Genevieve has performed as Guest Principal Harp with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Opera & Ballet Orchestra, and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and performs regularly with Halcyon. She is also a founding member of SHE (Seven Harp Ensemble).

Acacia Quartet

Sydney-based Acacia Quartet was formed in 2010 and has collaborated with a variety of Australian musicians, including Halcyon, Katie Noonan, Kim Walker, and composers Elena Kats-Chernin and Lyle Chan. Another recent CD is Fast Blue Village, the first of a series of recordings of Kats-Chernin’s string quartets.
